second ear piercing

I think it looks chavvy, even without hoops.

In your opinion do you think getting a second ear piercing (just above where the 'normal' ear peircing is) looks scally-ish/ chav-like? Note: i wouldn't be wearing big gold hoops or those doll earrings! Just normal earrings.

i heard that the second one hurts more than the first- im a wuss though My mum wouldnt let me have mine done, she said i would regret i cos it was a common look- but i never agreed- did as i was told though

Only pleeeease make sure you get it done in a decent place, as if i second hole gets infected it hurts the first one.. I went to Claires accesories and it didnt get infected so thats a good place.

Nah, not really. Although the higher you get, the closer you get to cartilege so technically it should hurt more the higher you get... my 3rd holes are half in cartilege and half not... GRR.

my mum has that problem too, on her only piercing though, her ear is constantly red!

Mine just took ages to heal properly... I'm still quite iffy about leaving that hole empty for very long and its been done over a year now.

Um, no! You should never go to anywhere that uses a gun, like Claire's Accessories. You were just incredibly lucky.

*embarassed face* I got my first holes done with a gun when I was 7, fairy snuff, too young to know/care. Got my second holes done at Claire's... still didn't know much (age 12 or 13). But my third holes were done on the same day I got my navel done and by that time I knew a LOT about piercings, had pierced my own tongue web etc etc.... and I got them pierced with a GUN at a tattoo/piercing studio... pffrrt. Only bother I had was that one is half in cartilege, half not and one's SLIGHTLY further up (only noticeable by a perfectionist like me).

Although in my own defence, I ran away before getting my navel done there and went to a more reputable establishment! Didn't return for my tragus or rook either!

i think mine were pierced witha gun too, they knackered but they were never infected i was sooo young like 3!

Mine were on my brother's 12th birthday... awwh.

I remember the first time I had to turn them... obviously I'd been a good girl and not touched them AT ALL. So when we had to turn them on the first night I screamed the place down! It hurt SO much. I was so scared with my 2nd and 3rd holes I was turning them every 10 minutes so they couldn't crust up!
