Access to HE (Nursing) North Notts College

Hi all,

I'm due to start my access course at North Notts College (Worksop) in a few weeks. Just wondering if anyone here has done the access at North Notts and could give me some info? Content, workload etc.

I did an access course in September just finished it in June. Mine was based at Maid Marian Way in Nottingham. It was a CAVA access course and the majority of it was assignments with a few open book tests and 1 exam.

The course was very informative, enjoyable, made many friends too and the staff were approachable and helpful.
We did 3 hours of sociology a week, 1 hour psychology, 1.5 hours tutor time, 2 hours maths and 6 hours of biology.

The assignments are achievable they gave them to us then we had a two week turnaround, the same applied for marking assignments. Justmake sure you look at the assignment brief and check that you have reached the required learning outcomes to achieve the best grades, more details etc especially in biology...structure to function
