I was offered AAA from University of York, got ABB and got in

Sometimes it's not just grades, it's interview performance etc.

Awww, that's so disappointing But at least you got your place! Nobody has replied to me so far and I only know one result :L
Thanks so much! Did you get into any universities or haven't they confirmed your offer yet? Which subject?

I got an offer of AAA for English Literature at Manchester but got in with an ABC! I got an A* in Extended Project though, which I suppose helped me quite a bit.

Offer was AAB for Business Accounting and Finance at Newcastle and I got AAC and got in. Wondered if my A in general studies also helped hahahah.

Was only 6 UMS off a B in maths, but oh well!

My offer for York was AAB excluding General Studies, after I saw I'd got in on Track and collected my results, I realised I'd actually missed the grades - I got A* in GS, and AAC and they let me in! I was so scared after the inflation in grade boundaries for my subjects but so excited to start at my firm

I was predicted a B in geography and I thought that would be the likely outcome, but UCL asked for an A. As expected I got a B but UCL took me anyway. Makes me wonder why they bothered asking for an A in the first place?

I shouldn't have looked at this thread cos it just depresses me. I get an offer of A*AA with the A*in Maths for my firm but get A*AA with the A* in economics but still get rejected.

Congratulations on your place, I wish I'd got some leniency too
