AQA AS Spanish Results confusion

In UNIT 2 Spanish I got score 60 which is an A, is this how many marks i got in the exam because when I look at the grade boundaries the maxiumum you can get in this is 50! Confused??

It'll be the number of UMS that the exam is "out of" - usually 100, if memory serves. :smile: We might be able to help more if you could post a photo of your statement of results (without the personal details!).

60/60 is full UMS, so you probably got 50/50. UMS is how they make sure grades remain roughly similar year on year- For Spanish, the maximum UMS mark is 60, the maximum raw mark is 50. Well done!

Also in Spanish UNIT 1 I got a score of 95 ( C) but when i look at the grade boundaries 92 is an A. Confused???

92 is raw marks, 95 is UMS. The UMS boundaries are: A- 112, B- 98, C- 84
