Wart?

I've had a wart-like growth on the knuckle of my thumb for 10 years now, it appears to have two "centres", and on the underside of my thumb knuckle there is a patch of hard skin, which again has been there 10 years.

I went to my GP a while ago to get a different one frozen off, and asked about this one, and she said "I'm not sure that is a wart", but at the time I didn't think anything of it.

Just wondering without another visit to my GP if anyone has any ideas what else it could be?
Skin infection?
