So does anyone have some kind of like map to show the different houses etc and where they are based on campus? I in Holker House Cartmel? Like showing which building is which?

Some one sent me this one last year, the colleges are wrong now but so long as you know your house number i think its all right.

A few questions though..what does each bit mean..like the A19 and the House 66, and Kirkham? I hope I don't sound stupid lol

Also..my room is 'Superior En-suite'..anyone know what this means?

Well as far as i know the A19 bit means the 19th room on floor 'A', the ground floor. So that's your room.
And House 66 is the building, which is probably aslo called Kirkham cos everywhere except Bowland likes to give buildings nice names.

Not a clue what superior en-suite means, but it can't be a bad thing :smile:

I think it is gunna be on sunday the 8th, the lake district trip with the boat ride on lake windemere(sp)... if i survive the week i shall be going hehe! it will be marvy!

What time were you thinking of arriving on the sat? i'm just coming from down the road in Barrow-in-Furness so it wont take me that long to get there and in the guide it says to arrive at the beginning or the end of the day... i just dont know what to do hehe! xx

I'll probably turn up about 10ish... im travelling over from Germany on the thursday, buying all my new stuff and visiting family on the friday then going to uni on the sat...well scary!

I think it would be really cruel to find out that we're not in the same flat.. i really wish lancs would publish something for us freshers with the make up of flats.. i think there is a chance we might be cuz, ur only 'a few doors down'..if ya get me! xx

I think we are gunna have an awesome view(wouldn't want to be on the bottom floor).. but we must make sure that one of us doesnt fall down stairs drunk.. it'll be a long way down!

Haven't bought anything for uni yet... which is really bad, im kinda pre-ordering as well as buying the day before because things like pots and pans are less expensive in england than they are in germany! its madness!

Hopefully we are all in the same flat girls xx
