If it was AQA then could you also specify whether it was Psychology (A) or Psychology (B).

Hey there,
Like others have said, it would be good if you could specify the exam board that you want to see the grade boundaries for
There is a list of grade boundaries from various exam boards here: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=2761600 if you want to look at any other subjects as well as Psychology.
Although, to save you the trouble; I've complied a list below for each exam board and their grade boundaries for Psychology -
Edexcel
AQA
OCR
WJEC
I hope this helps!

Although I'm confused as my results don't fit in to these criteria.
I sat the AQA A, and got a B overall. But on my results I have 66 mark equivalent for unit 1, and 75 on unit b, so exceeding the given bandmarks?
Can you help me understand this?

So;
Unit 1 - 66 UMS = 47 raw marks
Unit 2 - 75 UMS = 47 raw marks
Adding your UMS scores, that would give you 141 UMS overall; giving you your B grade

The marks that are shown on your results slip are ums scores, not raw marks which is what are grade boundaries show
So you would have to convert your ums scores into raw marks to see what you got on each paper and then compare them to the grade boundaries. I have converted them for you using AQA's mark converter (http://www.aqa.org.uk/exams-administ...t-marks-to-ums)
So;
Unit 1 - 66 UMS = 47 raw marks
Unit 2 - 75 UMS = 47 raw marks
Adding your UMS scores, that would give you 141 UMS overall; giving you your B grade
I hope this explains why the results shown on your slip don't match the band marks!

I did the Psychology AS with WJEC and am a bit confused that my UMS don't match the grade boundaries you've provided above - are these the raw marks and if so would you be able to transfer them into UMS as I don't seem to be able to find the boundaries anywhere else? Thanks

If you want to compare your UMS with raw marks to see what mark you got on the paper, then you can refer here: https://www.wjecservices.co.uk/MarkToUMS/default.aspx
Change 'session' to GCE June, scroll down to Psychology and select the paper you want to look at under 'subject'; a table will show up that displays the grade boundaries (both raw marks and UMS) and underneath that, there is a table that shows what amount of raw marks equals to a particular UMS score (e.g. 24 raw marks = 29 UMS).
I hope this helps you out!
