(i assure you work is dull and i'm obligated to be in the office and this is the only reason i'm posting in this thread)

Homosexual and Alternative Sexual Preference Studies

Honestly, what a stupid question

Easy as ABC
Peterhouse may have the reputation for being the most gay college (!), but what about individual subjects? This could just be the apparent amount of gay people on the course, or how it is viewed by other students.

I'd guess English and SPS are pretty gay

Any ideas?

SPS isn't gay, why does it matter, anyway?

yeah i spose i'm being a bit pedantic but one must remember that preference doesn't come into it...

anyway, i can't believe no-one's pointed out that languages are very gay, my teacher's spent the past 2 years telling me that i'll be very lucky when i go to uni coz there're very few men that do languages. obviously she was slightly skew wiff and should rather have said unlucky. lol
Well by ratio of male to female, I suppose CompScis should be the gayest...

Well, it was that or orientation, and then someone would have made hiking jokes, so I faced a lose-lose situation, really.

How dare she make the ridiculous assumption that a teenage male wants to get into GIRLS (eeew) and not smoke the pink cigar or be anally attacked?! tsk. What's the education system coming to eh?

English is pretty gay, not so sure about SPS (those taking the psychology/sociology route are generally gayer than politics). Languages are obviously gay, oriental studies too. Bio Natsci generally has lot of heterosexual men who act as if they're bottom-bangers but aren't. Stereotpying is bloody good fun!

Taking the stereotyping further...

Since all mathmos are semi-autistic men with untrendy glasses, knitted jumpers and a complete lack of social confidence, it would probably make sense for them to be gay since they aren't going to be too sucessful being straight :p:. No offence intended obviously - I'm an aspiring mathmo myself anyway.

yeah, what makes gay men any less discriminating in their choice of partner than heterosexual women?! HOMOPHOBE! RAGING HOMOPHOBE! ring The Guardian and report this bigoted monster!

Shhhh! I'm trying to poke fun at the stereotype of mathematicians, it's not my fault if it doesn't make sense.

Ah, but the mathematicians can have gay relationships with other mathematicians. You see, as everyone knows, no female mathematicians exist so this would be impossible for heterosexual relationships.

I've heard the word 'sexuality' bandied about in common parlance for many years. Are you Southern? Maybe it hasn't reached there yet?
