Accomodation switch/trades before arrival?

Does anyone know if we are allowed to trade accommodation offers with someone else? I got Ramsay hall, but I think it would be better (if I could) to switch to Connaught Hall, which is cheaper.

I have been assigned a Single Room not En-suite at Ramsay Hall - and would like to switch with someone to a Small Single Room and Connaught.

Is this allowed - and is this possible?

no - you have to accept or decline the offer now. the earliest you can swap is something like monday the 13th of october , when ucl opens a swap list. until then , you have to move in and live there unfortunately
