really young looking students

I have just turned 18 a few days ago and will be going 2 uni in september. The problem is, well dont know if it is actually yet :rolleyes:

that i dont look 18, I look like a 15 or 16 year old.

Would it be a problem in uni and are they other peeps like me :smile:

I know quite a few young looking students, but you're 18 and will have ID so if anyone queries it at say a club or something you're fine!

Maybe dress up a bit to look older? I'm 19 but am only 149cm tall and weight 39kg. So I look very young. Like 12 year olds :biggrin:

haha i look really young too. Yesterday i was in next and the woman said "would you be interested in the cata....oh you wont be old enough" i was like yeah i am. Anyways i was 18 back in may but i always have ID so it dosent really matter.

Im going for a new haircut tomorrow and ive bought some nice clothes and started to wear some basic make up to try and make me look a little more stylish and more my own age.

Edit - like the above poster im really short at just over 5ft and weigh around 7st.

I'm gonna be 1 month off 21 when i get to uni, i already look older than i am anyway cause im 6'4, im gonna look like im preying on kids or something!

I turned 18 in january but I still get asked for ID for a 15 film at the cinema!!
I hate looking younger and being so tiny but hey we are all going to really appreciate looking more youthful than all our friends when we're middle aged...

I'm 20 in 2 weeks but I always get ID'd, just make sure you have a provisional/driving license with you or passport with your DOB on. You'll be fine.

I got ID'd for cigarrettes the other day. Haha. Man I must look 15 still.

I'm 21 and still get ID'd - I wouldn't worry!

There was this kid in my halls though that I swear was 12.

I look young too. I'm 19 but I still get asked for ID for cigs! It doesn't help that I'm only 5ft. I haven't had any problems though. Even if you did look 18 you'd still get ID'd at pubs and clubs anyway because they tend to ID anyone who looks under 21.

lol i doubt anyone is going to dislike you just because you look young!! and if they do then they're a bit shallow. I'm sure you will have a great time, stop worrying! :smile:

I thought everyone would look loads older than me at uni but I was quite suprised. There's only a small amount who look older for their age. I found most look probably there age or maybe a little younger actually.

You're 18. You have ID. That's all that matters.

My sisters 23 and she got IDed for alcohol at the supermarket the other day. It was my 18th yesterday and I look quite young but as long as you have ID there shouldn't b a problem.

there was a guy in halls across from me and i swear he looked abut 12... when we were moving in i persumed he was someone's younger brother! lol

just take ID and you'll be fine! everyone gets IDd these days... just hope you stay looking young when you like 40 lol

I pretty much look my age but have been told before i look a year younger. I was really happy when i got in to a club that ID's anyone who looks under 21 (im 18) my freinds that went in with me got asked for ID!
