Can someone who studies IT at uni answer my question please watch

    how practical is the course? is it just note taking? if your studying hardware etc wouldn't you need the hands on approach? surely you wouldn't just sit and take notes without getting hands on time? the reson I ask is because im very tempted to go for an HND in IT and dont see how any IT course can be done at home..

    I studied a BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3 in IT and went on to do Business and IT at Sheffield Hallam because I fancied a variety to be honest. From the IT perspective, I have done quite a lot of theory and a small amount of practical, which makes sense to be honest, depends on what type of learner you are.

    I imagine the BTEC you did was heavily practical based.
