So I just missed out on my grades and I am planning on resitting a couple of units next year, would this mean I apply for university again in October 2014 or 2015?? I'm afraid that by applying in 2014 I will be automatically rejected due to my results as I won't have done my resits yet, what should I do??

I'm thinking the same thing, and it would be nice to know what the process actually is.

That would mean that you'll apply in October 2015, a year later than when you were supposed to apply

So does this essentially equate to having two years between attending university if I'm successful in my application?
