Student Loan - repayment cost Calculator
I'm really confused on the student loan repayment costs. I've used both the DirectGov (student loans repayment calculator) and others and the numbers reported are vastly different. Tuition fees of 9K+ Maint Loan of 3750, 3 years course, assumed starting salary £25K - with 37K amount borrowed:-
I get total £99K amount repaid, on DirectGov calculator
I get total £37K amount repaid on moneysavingexpert calculator
I have also checked the bbc calculator which provides another very different value !!
PLEASE ADVISE. - the official DirectGov calculator looks a scary value !!
