    I got 5A*, 6A, 1B in GCSE
And ABCD in As levels (English lit, Psychology, History, and Economics).
Going to get the history remarked and hopefully moved up/retake.
My A level predictions will probably be A*AA/A*AB
Which Universities should I be looking at with these grades for english lit & history combined degrees?
Also done Gold D of E & Ten tors.
Since you got ABCD, I doubt you'll be predicted A*AA. If your teachers have any sense, they will not predict you that. Most likely AAB or ABB. A*, sure if you got like 100% in all your modules at AS. But some schools tend to not to predict A* because they know that it's so hard to get and it would look bad on the school if they over-predicted and that student didn't get it. Colleges perhaps do predict more A*s as they can fall back on other students.

You will need to apply for 5 unis and once you get an offer from those unis, you need to to pick a a firm and insured uni. Firm will be higher. So AAA (let's be realistic) and then your insured (in case u didn't get your firm on results day) ABB.

So I would at least look at AAA-ABB unis. Possibly even on A*AA. But you got ABC... So to get your teachers to predict anything higher than ABB is going to be something!

My school tends to predict a grade higher than you achieved at As levels. Plus in the A I got 200/200. But yeah, will definitely look at AAA-ABB!
