So yesterday I got my AS level results and I got CCCD and I'm wondering if it's too risky to apply for courses that have a minimum requirement of ABB. I'll be retaking 3 exams to increase AS level results to BBBC or AABC if I try super hard.

You'll almost certainly be rejected. Your best bet is to either not apply in this application cycle, re-sit some modules and take a gap year. Or you could re-consider your expectations and apply in this cycle.

I had AS grades of BCCD and got offered a place with the requirement of AAB. I did have extenuating circumstances though, so that could have played a part. I also had an offer of A*AA. You may as well apply, you've got nothing to lose!

Thanks for the replies and tips you guys did really well in your exams! I'm worried I'll be rejected but also know I can get the grades so I'm on the fence rn. Don't know whether to apply to lower requirements such as BBB/BBC or mix it abit so apply for BBB/ABB idk
Some of my modular exam results show I'm capable of getting A's and B's (I got an A in unit 2 biology and B's in core 2 maths and unit 1 physics) but the rest are C's and D's

You can definitely get offers from Universities with entry requirements of ABB, I got CDDE in As and still got offers but be sure to pick a range of Unis.
