Student Survival Kit
My Best friend is off to uni in 5 weeks and I wanted to put a little hamper together for him. He's off to study Musical Theatre and I wanted to put something together but with more quirky items that no one thinks they will need until they actually get there?
So I guess this is mainly a question for people going into their second/ third year.
What didn't you realise you needed until you got there but have used all the time since??
he's already got quite a lot of kitchen stuff so I was thinking about putting in things like his favourite biscuits, sachets of herbs, toilet roll, stationary but wanted some random things that would make him giggle too.
can you help?

I always recommend a door stop. Because he'll want to have his door open most of the time for at least the first few days to meet his new flatmates.
