Been accepted as a support worker full time... recruitment process? watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi Everyone

As of yesterday, I have now been offered a full time support worker job with Brandon Trust (a care service provider) It's my first ever paid employment, but was just wondering, for those who are in the role, on average how long did the process take to complete?

    many thanks

They should have either given you a start date, or told you what processes need to complete before they can give you a start date - do you need to get a DBS/CRB check for example? As they might not be able to give you a start date until that comes through (typically 2 weeks to a month). Similarly they could be waiting on training - perhaps they only deliver induction training on certain dates. Or it could just be HR waiting for your references to come back etc. If you're unsure, just give them a call and ask when you can expect to have a start date (just say you want to make sure you keep your calendar clear or something).

    P.S. congrats!
