Doesn't need to be back until the 11th or something, I just wanted to get it out the way as it was in danger of being buried on my desk and being forgotten about.

I haven't done the forms yet.

I'm wanting a mixed, non-smoking floor. Yup that'd be nice.

I think maybe only the people who had it as first choice...

...well I had it down as 1st anyway.

How does the whole food thing work out, I never got round to investigating it properly? Do we get fixed portions at meal times or something, or is it kind of load up as much as you want on a plate? I'm a huingry boy and need my food.

I heard they throw food at you, and you can have as much as you can catch in your mouth.
Just turn up looking emaciated and they'll give you a couple extra rashers.

The portions are more or less fixed. You will go along and get... a main bit of the meal. Say, lasagne. and then you go along and get vegatables in which you just say yes, no, yes etc. Obviously if you say yes to all the vegatables you can end up with quite alot more than if you say no.

I think the food at HB was really good and very rarely went hungry, the portions on average are alot bigger than i was used to at home.

For breakfast they have a "5 item rule". You go in choose 5 items out of a selection. The selection changes slightly every day. For example you could choose to make up your 5, 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, 1 egg. I think they also have a rule of "no more than 2 of one thing". So you can't have 5 sausages for breakfast.

the staff vary, some are a bit on the mean side, but if you know the right ones and the main dinner person's back is turned they will often double the size of your meal if you ask nicely. They tend to reward being poltice and talktative. if you strike up a conversation with them you will often get rewarded with extra portions of stuff. Or 6 or 7 things at breakfast instead of 5...

Thanks for the advice, it will be put to good use.
Yeah cheers.

The food sounds pretty decent. I eat every day in a Sainsbury's workers canteen so I'm sure the breakfasts taste like frickin heaven on a biscuit.
That's not good.

I practically live on marmite on toast.

Well, they provide little tubs of marmite. Your not supposed to take more than 1 or 2.... but.. heh.

The toast is weird because they put it in a special machine then leave it for people to pick up. you've really got to have toast just as its toasted, most of the toast that is their has been sitting for 5, 10 minutes and because its cold just tasted a bit naff. You could allways make your own toast.
Yeah I know what you mean.

I don't touch toast that hasn't been buttered the second it leaves the toaster.

Just as a man must have his own moral code, he must also have standards.

Noooo you have to leave it for a while so the butter sits on top, then it's perfect!
