    Will I be able to get into uni by doing A level maths, physics and IT level 3 certificate and getting good grades in it?

    Contact the universities you are interested in and ask them if they will accept you with these qualifications.

    What qualification is IT? OCR National or a btec??

    Yh thats fine, i don't why that should be a problem as it's pretty much the same as doing 3 A levels, but you will need distinctions in the btec to get into the top universities. I think all universities accept a subsidiary diploma as long as it is studied which other courses to add upto 3 A levels, which in your case it does.
