economics at university ?!! Help !

Hi I've just done AS and received these results

economics: 187 ums A
MAths: 257 ums A
Sociology: 200 ums A (full marks)
English lit: D (118 ums)

My predictions right now are A*AA* and do not know about English lit. I need to decide on a subject to drop. However, although it seems like an easy option (English lit) I absolutely love it and was predicted an A! Do you think it's worth the remark? And sociology I hate so so much!!!! If I do carry on with sociology and apply to russel group unis for economics will sociology be regarded as a bad subject. Will I be disadvantaged?
Any advice on which to drop will be useful!

although you say you hate sociology, I'd advise you to carry it on as you only need a C (120 ums) in A2 to get an A overall. hence, I'd say drop English lit even though you enjoy it so maybe go for the remark and hopefully get a C then cut your losses. plus, for an economics degree the fact you have maths and economics will be enough :smile:
