Hi,

I've applied to do an msc in wildife biology and conservation (I have an undergraduate degree in anthropology) and was wondering if anyone studying zoology/ wildlife conservation could give me some info on how this course compares to zoology? I'm more interested in taxonomy/ biodiversity than the other areas of conservation.

Also does anyone know if I'd be able to do a Phd in say entomology (if my masters dissertation was on insects) without having a undergraduate degree in zoology?

Thanks guys.

Just want to add in here that the University of Edinburgh runs an identical course with the Royal Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh that is also very highly rated. Worth a look if that is your interest.
