    Hi guys,

im going into my last year of high school(year 11) and I really want to improve my grades as in my mocks I got Ds and below and 1 U! In my English 10% towards GCSE i keep getting a D with 11/20 marks and it's 12 to get a C so I'm really annoyed at that.

I get easily distracted in class and that's when I lose focus. When I'm working in a quiet environment i work really well it's just those grades let me down! I want to improve them but I don't know how i can do that! Can someone help me please!!!

You should buy GCSE revision guides if you have not already and do lots of past papers as that will do you good and you will get use to the questions you will most likely get in your real exams. Also for stuff like maths you should get a maths tutor if neccessary or get the mathswatch Cd or use corbettmath(online maths titurial). Practice, Practice and practice is what can get you the grades you deserve which are surley Cs and above. I know it is easier said than done but if you dont try and put effort in from now you might not do well so make use of every opportunity you are given in school and outside of school for example boosters before and after school etc.
