My A-level grades were BBB & hence really disappointing and I am hoping to get two of these subjects sent back for re-marking but otherwise will take a gap year to resit the exams. My GCSEs were not too brilliant either so im finding it really difficult to find places that would accept me whilst resitting. Could anyone help?

Medicine does not accept resits and you would hardly bolster those up to three As within a years setting anyway. For the context, if I were you, I would question your motivations into going into Medicine and try something else.

Some universities allow resits for medicine just check their policies. Just because op didn't get the grades they wanted doesn't mean there's no hope for medicine.

I mentioned the OP should question their motivations and then maybe try something else for the interim. Tbh, if the GCSE grades aren't "good" and the A-levels don't meet the entrance requirements for most medical schools, the application will be killed off before its even begun..

Its a brutal world we live in and the OP may want to consider trying something else for now and then re-visit Medicine at an age where they have the advantage of life experience..

    All the best..
