Confused by Edexcel Maths, weird marking. And request photocopy or not? watch

    • Thread Starter

The C2 Edexcel maths exam was very difficult was expecting a C from it tbh. The invigilator screwed me by querying my extra time near the end of the exam. And I got 83 (A).

FP1 I had a panic attack and know that I only answered the Newton Raphson question correctly was definitely expecting a U but got a C.

C3 I know that I got 71 or 72 raw and was expecting high 90's and I got 73UMS. Shocked as that was an easy paper.

And core 1 after verifying answers with what I had done on the paper with those here was expecting 98 UMS and got 89..

M2 got a U and D1 got a C - thought I had done much better after again checking on here with the unofficial mark scheme, was expecting B's on both.

Should I request C3 back? Frazzled and bewildered how I got a B with the paper being a lot easier than normal etc.

Weird stuff. Don't want to remark it, without knowing that I could get the grade up.

Ended up with a B in Maths. Just scraped in as well...

But considering redoing all the bad modules.

So should I get a photocopy of C3 back?

If you are certain then get a photocopy of your C3 paper back have a look and request a remark. However, don't be surprised if you made a few silly errors at the start of some of your solutions thus losing quite a few marks.
