I'm feeling slightly better, but now I've actually started to tackle my work I'm a bit like oh my good god I have so much to do :frown: I don't feel like my tutor is very approachable anyway if I'm being honest...I'm the worst at speaking to people anyway, but he's male and he doesn't speak very good English. There's nothing wrong with him in general, I just haven't warmed to him really :/

All you can do is break it down, attempt small chunks at a time and try not to panic! At some point you'll get to the end of your work pile and become used to the way uni works. :hugs:
Ah right, fair enough then, are there any other outlets for support at your uni?

Just out of my driving lesson. It went well  the guy was nice and he's also a trekkie which is a bonus  I didn't stall which shocked us both lol.

Typical me, all that worrying today for nothing!

Have a good night everyone and remember my inbox is always open

:hugs: You're not thick, at all! I know it won't feel like it but from what I've heard everyone else feels the same :sadnod:

Thank you! I wish I didn't have so much work to do. I've already had a complete break down to a flat mate and told her more than I've ever told anyone. Uni is really strange, and I'm not sure I can warm to it. I'm probably taking this way too over the top, because I know some people haven't done even half the work I have, but I still have such a tonne to do :frown:

Make it up then- that's what most people do! In terms of what they learnt anyway, not where they've been or whatever obviously  What sort of place did you go to?

local small shop.

i dont rreally wanna make it up though.

Yeah I am...I have the rest of tonight and the next three days so I'm hoping I'll get things done before Monday because then I can have a fresh start! I have a food shop coming soon, which is annoying because I have so much to do, but I also only have some butter and some crackers so I need the food
I'm sure there are outlets but I just can't face it. Whenever I say something in the kitchen everyone is like 'it's only week three' and make me feel **** for struggling so idk

:woo: Go Dukey!

I like making people laugh, it's an ego trip! :colone: Shame I lost my sat nav :getmecoat:

How is the sweet little thang?
Feel alone and empty. Alone is when the thoughts come :frown:

Good luck with it! It's good you have a food shop coming, eating right is important too
Ignore them, they might say they aren't struggling but they are 100% definitely lying. Can I ask which uni you are at?

I wouldn't really class it as eating right, I've eaten a right load of crap since I got here :frown: I feel like I'm gonna full on burst into tears because I've been working since five o'clock and I've barely done anything because everything takes so darn long -.- I've got like another three things minimum to do tonight as well -.- I'm at York, which one are you at?

Something is definitely better than nothing though. Take a break if you feel you need it, you can always come back to it in an hour.
Oo, York rejected me for nursing! I'm at UCLan.

Indeed! I'm gonna get up about 9 tomorrow and work throughout the day as well, should be alright and get it all done. I've put some music on now to try and pep myself up haha. Might just eat a **** tonne of crisps when they get here  hahah there's nothing wrong with York, it's me that's ****ed up

Sounds like a plan! I'm listening to Adele which definitely isn't helping matters
I'm kind of glad they rejected me, I would have been a bloody awful nurse and I still don't know why I thought I would have been good at it  Nope, I simply won't accept you saying such things about yourself :hugs:

Telling people is good though! Not that I ever have :colondollar: As I said to TLG earlier, just get as much of the work done as you can and that's as much as you can do! It's good that you're in a better position than some people too, means that

I don't mean make it up as such, mmore just think round what you did do and see what skills they could count as. For example, you will have learnt how a shop works, you might have learnt how to use a till or place orders for the shop, you had t work with other people and talk to customers and things. There's loads you could say!

Making people laugh is good :yep: Although in my case people tend to laugh when I say something serious or to myself, and on the odd occasion I do actually try to be funny they don't

My dog is fine thanks :colone:

Haha yeah the music I'm listening to is pretty sad I'm ngl! I think I'm gonna finish these two things tonight and try and get a good night's sleep for my work for the next three days. It's a bit of an excuse to get out of doing work but oh well  I am really trying, but struggling and failing miserably :frown: haha what subject do you do now? I am **** though, my teacher used to sing my praises aaaaall the time and, even though I know she'd never lie, I have no idea what she saw in me :frown:

Neither have I until Monday night when I was horrendously drunk hahah it was such a weird experience and I can't decide whether I feel better for it or not :s-smilie: I think I'm gonna do just two more things and then attempt to go to bed early-ish before my full day of it tomorrow :frown: ugh I wanna go back to being top of the year again haha even a levels were easier so far and I hated those :frown:

It's not an excuse, if you're tired then you need sleep.
I do neuropsychology  Well, it's basically psychology for the first two years to get BPS accreditation then I specialise in third year. I can relate again, was always doing reasonably well at a-levels but now I'm drowning :hugs:
