Halls in dumfries is ridiculously expensive compared to private landlords. For me it was ~£125 a week in halls, now I'm paying £250 a month.

If you've got any other questions about dumfries or the uni feel free to ask, I couldn't find much out about it when I started.

Yeah, I can't find anything out about the course, it's a bit ****!
Do you have any ideas on a reading list or books I need before starting the course?

I can't give you a reading list or anything as I'm not doing Primary Ed. That said from what I've heard I don't think there is one per se, though there are books that you'll be 'encouraged' to buy when you start. From what I remember some of them are fairly expensive, as in >£50.
