I am a form 5/Year 11 moving to form 6/Year 12 student currently studying in Hong Kong, I am taking both the edecel course and the the local course in Hong Kong, I have no teacher to help me in the edexcel course so it's all self study. Yesterday I got my edexcel marks back and it is biology-E, chemistry-C and math-B, I am wondering whether I should retake both chemistry AS and Biology AS or just Biology.
Keeping in mind that the course I want to study in university is Pharmacy.
PS: my marks are usually much higher then this, I'll have to blame it on hubris and not even start studying until 2 week before the exam.

Hey I just finished my AS too(in UK)

Are you planning to study pharmacy in UK? Or HK? I am not sure if your 3 AS is sufficient , some unis want 4 AS while you take 3 up to A2 level. But I would retake all three AS, if it's not too much work, because you'll face plenty of competition (international places at UK unis for competitive courses are quite limited). You could also try remarking, provided money isn't an issue and you plan to apply uni for next year.

    Best of luck!

Hi! I'm also a student from HK.
I think you 'd better retake both Chemistry and Biology.
As I've heard that universities give offers based on AS results.
It's much safer to enter to your desired course if you could achieve a better result.
    Good luck!
