On results day I didn't get into my firm (QMUL) but got into my unconditional insurance choice (Kent) with BBB to study politics. However, when I saw my course at Southampton with those grades in clearing I decided to contact them, and got a verbal offer. When I asked Kent to release me later that day, they said that it would take 24 hours for them to do so, so I didn't bother logging into track.
Fast forward to Friday afternoon, my mum got a phone call whilst I was at my internship in London saying I lost my place at Southampton so I rushed home. Turns out Kent actually released me minutes after I contacted them, not 24 hours like they told me.
I applied to Kent again through clearing using their online form for politics & IR instead just before 6pm last night. Do you think I'll hear back from them today since it's a Saturday? I know that there's a visit day today so there must be staff there. And if I do, is there a likely chance they'll accept me considering my situation?
I'm sorry if I sound pathetic. I'm on a gap year and I just can't afford to take another year off and I really need to start uni this year. I need some advice/reassurance because I can't believe I got myself into this horrible situation.
