How long do I have to convert AS to A2?

Hi everyone,quick question. I got a B in geog in my AS and 3 E's. school want me to resit the year but wont let me do A2 geog this year. Can I keep the B until doing A2 in 2015/2016 and use it then?

which board are you giving exams under? I gave under edexcel and unless there's a change in syllabus (which occurs in every 7-10 years) you can complete your A2 using the units u studied previously. Also since you are going to study at school, it's best if you ask if they will allow you to use your AS.

Thank you for replying,it's AQA. I was reading about cashing in grades and getting very confused! I have a meeting with Head of Sixth form on Thursday.

As long as the subjects you have continue to have the same subject code (which indicates the syllabus hasn't changed) you can continue to do the subject. But best talk with your head!
