Hi, So I didn't know what to call the title of this so just to get that out the way.
I'll jump straight into it. I'm handing work in with the mitigation deadline on the 22nd and I went to log into my account with online and when I went to it repeatedly said 'Wrong username/password'. Strange. I went to reset my password thinking i've used something else and it'll be quicker then trying password after password.
Went to reset my password for the site to tell me that the account does not exist. This is my student number and has been for 3years so it's not something i'd forget but checked my student ID card just in case i did have a typo. No. All correct.
I was wondering if I could get some advise on what I should do because without the work that was on that account on there I can't hand in the work and if the account has been 'deleted' then that would mean i'd fail by not handing in the work.
I've email my course leader but I don't really trust him and he won't see that till monday I assume so I was wondering if anyone on here had any ideas?
I'd rather not have the "you should have handed it in by now" talk. it's mitigation for a reason.
Thanks for reading.

Contact your uni's IT Helpdesk, ask what's gone wrong with your account/login and get them to sort it out. These days they should be open 7 days a week even outside term time (postgrads work year round).
If they can't sort it out before the deadline, you then have proof (ask for a call reference) that you did your best to get it resolved and that the problem was beyond your control.
