Oh....How mistaken you are! We are currently double head of the river (first and only time it has happened in oxford history!) This means we have the best mens and womens first eights.... We also have the best mens 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th eights... How can u suggest Oriel are better than us?!?!

Sorry to sound prejudiced, but having a great 5th eight doesn't really matter. The most important thing is the 1st VIII. Pembroke were head of the river this year (though I was told Oriel beat you during the winter event, not sure what it's called) but before that Oriel were head of the river for a very, very long time.

And next year, they'll get even better, because they're getting the best schoolboy oarsman in the country.
