Okay, my mistake. So if you're a strict enough Muslim/Jew, then you should be exempted to. What I was really objecting to was the implication that vegans should have to pay the KFC because the food was occasionally vegan.
I suppose they regard one as a lifestyle choice and the other as a religious conviction... I would agree that vegans perhaps ought to be exempted from the KFC and charged the higher rate (as non-KFC payers) if they come to hall... but i could see the difficulties in regulating this.
'Strict' might be a bit misleading... its not so much strict as it is orthodox jews... who can be very liberal in other aspects of their faith.
