Anyone on myspace?

Do any of you have a myspace page??

I work in the Communications Office at Warwick and have recently set up a myspace page - myspace.com/warwickuniversity... so add us as your friend!

Here you will be able to find out more about Warwick as well as meet other students who are starting this year, current students, alumni, student bands, societies etc...

Also, if you have any questions about arriving at University then please do post them on the Welcome to Warwick Forum and someone will get back to you!

Look forward to meeting you all soon!

You will get your email address once you have enrolled but you can only enrol two weeks before your course starts. That's the problem with Facebook you see - we can't meet you new students on Facebook! Once you have got an email address it is worth signing up to Facebook though as its a great way to meet current students.

this is a good idea but i have one more option join hi5 a site with which we all can join a warwick group and ask question by sending messages to the person who you want to be in touch with...and posting it on the group...notice board

They're all crap.
Myspace really is the only one worth having, because most people who are on the others - are on myspace from my experience.

Are you joking?? I would agree with you maybe if we had this tread 4 years ago. Hi5.com has gone downhill ever since and is now almost dead.

As for me i cant be bothered to make a myspace account and then start all over with facebook. Btw, to all those who dont know, facebook is pretty much myspace and hi5 combined and is much better. The only down fall, explained above, is you need an email account from the university which is yet to come. And another thing, practically everyone does facebook so joy12 its another method of keeping in touch with old mates (assuming they go to uni).

So to everyone, do facebook!
Has anyone joined ********** (www.**********.com) Its quite good, basically like myspace...but cool

i guess myspace has the most universal appeal...and we dont end up limiting ourselves just to uni contacts as does facebook. i guess it is a little hypocritical on my part to talk about myspace since i have quite neglected my page hehe. Anyway, im joining

The world is yours, well some what anyways. You dont have to join facebook. Its just that the majority of university students around the world use it. I know its very big in the states and the UK but less else where. Still very good.
