    Hi,

I hold a firm offer but at this moment I don't like any accommodation near that uni and I am considering staying local, if I asked my firm to release me into clearing how long does this take?

it could take a while unless you keep calling them and nagging them. they said to email so i did that but i didnt have the pacience so i called them 3 times. dont let their slowness give you a disadvantage. call 10 times if need be

What's wrong with the accommodation near your Uni and what makes you think that it would be any better anywhere else?

You're living in the uni accommodation for a year. There are ****holes everywhere. Seriously, you're behaving like a princess.

When I did it took a day, I had to keep phoning, in the end I threatened them with legal action (the temps working in admissions were a bit thick) so they said that they were releasing me as we spoke, it came through about five hours later

This is such a wonderful response. It's like you took my thoughts and made them even better.
