So I got my AS level results which were
    B Economics (A in unit 1, D in unit 2)
    C English Language (D in unit 1, C in unit 2)
    C French
    D Textiles
They weren't what I was expecting and I am aiming to go to Northumbria University and study Fashion Communication and they want 320 UCAS points with 200 to come from A2.

My question is should I retake my
-Unit 2 in Economics to try pull it to an overall A
-Unit 1 in English to try pull it up to an overall B

I am resubmitting my textiles coursework to get it to a C. So then overall I could come out with ABCC at the most. However I don't know whether to retake the two units I mentioned or just pull them up this year at A2 and try get my overall BBB?

Do you think I should re-sit or try to pull them up this year as I really want to get into Northumbria University. My only worry is that if I re-sit it will take my attention away and revision time away from A2 exams? I don't know what to do.

You could always retake them and if you do worse then you don't have to use them grades? I'm in the same position as you, i got B in media, C in french, D in sociology and a D in history. So i'm resiting my french writing exam so i get an A overall cos i got an A in the speaking and i'm resitting my media exam to get an A but then i'm just gonna have to try and pull my sociology up to get a B or a C!

Also, AS exams are usually a lot earlier than A2 aren't they? this year all my exams were in may whilst A2 were still doing exams until the end of june!

i really like northumbria but they have like 5 courses that are pretty much the same thing so i don't know which one to pic

Guys, i need some advice. I've just received my AS level results and they are not what i expected! Very disappointed. so, i've got 2 options, either carry onto A2 and resit the modules or resit the whole year. Grades i will be carrying onto A2 are
    Maths: C1-B-74/100 ums
    C2-C-63/100 ums
    D1-D-54/100 ums
    overall grade: C, was 19 ums from from a B. i think i could easily get a B by resitting D1 and C2.

    Chemistry: F321-D
    F322-D
    (coursework)F323-A-51/60
    overall : D- 9 ums from a C

was really disappointed with chemistry, i would have done way better. i can easily achieve a C by just doing the coursework again.

    biology: unit 1- D
    unit 2 -D
    (coursework) unit 3 - C
    overall D- 11 ums from a C

please guys, what would you advice me to do?

I'm in the same boat mate , I had b's in the unit 2 exams but got D's in the unit one exams and chemistry coursework. So I ended up with all C's. So my plan is to carry on with my A2's and retake the unit one exams and study like crazy from the start of the year to go from a C's to hopefully ABB grade
