Hi guys, if you need to get cheap drinks for a night out in bars and clubs then buy vouchers on misterdrinkster.com (available from September on) - it will save you 80 % and give you a cheap night out - have a look

Theres a jobs fair in freshers week, make sure you have a cv ready before you go. I work in matthew street during the term time , and i live like a king, i dont get much student finance but if you can fit in night work your set. In your first year it is incredibly tight but ive just worked out my weekly budget for the second year and its a lot better.

Live like a king working in Matthew Street? First time i've ever heard that..

I'm from this city and I would suggest putting CV's into places such as TJ Hughes, Tesco, TK Maxx etc. Theres a good chance you will get a job as promotion staff for bars too but the wage isn't anything impressive but it's something if you need a job.

Actually pretty much any job will virtually double your SF once you actually work it out. I worked in a shop in Church Street during first year (admittedly a lot of hours) and money was not an issue. Even £50 a week will add about £2000 over the year.
