I have just today received my accommodation offer for Sentinel Towers block A. I had originally applied for Central Village but have obviously missed out.
I was hoping to get some advice on whether to accept this accommodation from people who are already at Leeds and know more about Sentinel Towers.
I'm originally from the Netherlands but have lived in the UK for more than three years and did GCSEs and a-levels like any other british student. I've read online that sentinel towers is very internationally orientated, and I've got nothing against that (being sort of international myself) but I am afraid I won't get a chance to fit in with english students and have a chance to go out and party and have chilled nights with flatmates if they are all exchange students that might not speak English well and might not be interested in socialising.
Obviously I am determined to do well in my course but the social aspect is also very important to me.
Do you think I will be okay in sentinel towers or would be better off finding a private room somewhere, and would that still be social?
Thank you so much for you help!
How are you celebrating?
