I don't know if i should get the freshers pass for my uni, I would need to go to about 75% of the events to get my money's worth, they are mostly alcohol-oriented nights at clubs and stuff and I do drink so I would probably get good use out of it. But if my flatmates don't want to go to most events then it would be a waste of money.

Obviously I haven't met my flatmates yet so I don't know if I should buy it or not, it might be sold out by the time I get to Uni.

Any second years have any advice? Do most freshers go out all week? My freshers is a 2 week event.

Is there a Facebook group for the accommodation you're staying at? I found one for mine, and found some of the people I'll be staying with and we decided to buy a pass. Might be worth a try.

There will be other flats who want to go so if you do get one you can just go with them. Its a good way to get to know them too! I got one of those wristbands for my uni last year and went to just over half of the events. My freshers was two weeks also. I just sold the rest of the tickets to people who didn't have them and I know a lot of other people who did the same. So it wouldn't be a waste of money if you do sell them.
