Do you think Manquillo will start?

why shouldn't he?
in the few games he's played, he has proven to be better than johnson imo.
yes he has a lack of experience, but he has been generally decent in defence and really good going forward.
dropping the kid would be odd.

I don't think Manquillo has put a foot wrong defensively (occasionally caught out of position but that is the nature of how we play). One thing that is lacking though is his first touch which has let him down on a few occasions. Flanagan is a better passer and has a better touch, but Manquillo makes better runs forward and is a better crosser. Johnson is **** at everything. That said, I do think we'll see a fair bit of rotation at RB between now and the next international break. We'll try to keep Manquillo fresh for the bigger games.

I would predict something like this for the next 7 games:

19th Oct: QPR - Johnson
22nd Oct: Real Madrid (CL) - Manquillo
25th Oct: Hull - Manquillo
28th Oct: Swansea (LC) - Johnson
1st Nov: Newcastle - Johnson
4th Nov: Real Madrid (CL) - Manquillo
8th Nov: Chelsea - Manquillo

Unless Johnson surprises us and makes himself first choice for the bigger games. Tbf he played pretty well in the last game when he came on.
Don't even know what to say.

Keep Gerrard further forward and let him get some goals now that Allen's back.

I agree 100%.

We need something different going forward; at least give Gerrard a chance.
It isn't like we're against top opposition so why don't we take a chance and mix it up?
This Lucio guy doesn't half talk rubbish does he

you ladies are so cute...

but can we cut down on the bitch-fighting plz?
Spurs don't look half bad going forward against City tbh, Good game, 4 penalties, 2 that were missed xD. Spurs bottled it though, should of scored their penalty to equalise but game over for them.

Referee has had a shocker, video refs cannot come any sooner.

Imagine if Suarez took pens, probably would have cracked 40 last year
Why couldn't Barcelona take Aguero instead x(
i would've preferred a draw in this game, but i suppose getting ahead of spurs should be our main concern right now.

a draw against QPR (as horrifying as it would be) would still take us about tottenham.
let's just do our job tomorrow and it'll be looking pretty decent for us.

Game against West Brom showed we can still grab 3 points without Sturridge. West Brom weren't exactly a terrible side either.

true, i was happy about beating WBA considering their form coming in to the game.
it's just not a nice feeling having no faith in your strikers though.
kind of the same at the other end where i have no faith in mignolet.

speaking of keepers, you gotta feel for lloris.
he was so good today...still lets in 4 goals.
he is without doubt a world class goalkeeper imo - spurs are so lucky to have him.
i would love having somebody like lloris in goal but there's no way spurs would sell him to us, not to mention he could go to more or less any club in the world...

I'm predicting 100+ points for Chelsea this season, they're going to run away with it.

That said, they only have 5 defenders in their squad. A couple of injuries at the back and they are in trouble.
