Wassily Kandinsky:Path to Abstraction exhibition at Tate Modern

Anybody else been to see this exhibition and what did you think of it?I went to see it yesterday as im doing my A2 Art personal investigation on Kandinsky.
Apart from the fact there were too many people there (which kinda was expected) i quite enjoyed the exhibition, id only ever seen Kandinsky's work in books but actually seeing them in real made them look so different, i love all the use of different colours in Kandiskys work and how the exhibition is set out to show his gradual move into abstraction. Also the gift shop was great,i bought one of the Kandinsky colouring books which will be useful for me personal investigation:smile:

I absolutely love Kandinsky, based most of my GCSE art on him....I want to go to the exhibition, but I checked the website, and it appears to be mainly his early work, which I don't like as much as his later stuff. And being broke, I'm not sure if I want to spend my money on it....It is Kandinsky though....

At the exhibition there is about 1 room of Kandinsky's early work and then most of the exhibition is for his abstract work, but his early work is interesting to see
