I'm studying Psychology, Biology and Sociology and just received BBB (lower than expected) in my AS results. I plan on studying Psychology (C800) after next year, and have been looking at Bangor University's entry requirements.

They say that their typical offers are 280-340 points, which is BBC-AAB, and applicants with at least one science subject are preferred. GCSE requirements are grade C at Maths and English. I have two of the "relevant science subjects" that they list on their website (psych and bio) and my GCSE Maths and English are grade B.

What kind of offer might I get in this case? I'm aiming to improve my grades and get AAB at A2, because I really want to go to Sheffield, but I'm thinking of this as an insurance in case I don't get them and end up with BBB. However if I get a 340 point (AAB) offer then there really would be no point since this would only be insurance and there is a real chance I won't get AAB at all.

Basically, is it likely that I would get an offer in the region of 300 points/BBB based on the subjects I'm studying and the grades I already have?
