    Hello,

I am probably going to Sheffield trough Adjustment. I just saw that in 3rd year there is only 'research project' and 'finance and law for engineers'. Is it true that there will not be any more programming/software engineering modules in 3rd year?

You need to get 120 credits per year, a full year's module is worth 20, half a year is worth 10 so you usually get 6 different modules. Finance and Law is one of the options for a module, I'm surprised you didn't see any other options. The Research Project probably refers to the final year project which everyone does.

That's ok I'm studying a different degree within the CompSci department so I might not be able to be super helpful, but if you have any other questions just ask!
