So I got my results on Thursday to find out I got the required grades to be eligible for the £3000 Cardiff University scholarship, much to my surprise. My question is though, how do they allocate them? It says they will award about 100 scholarships this year but it's available over so many subjects there must be way more than 100 people who fulfil all of the criteria so how do they decide who gets them? Do they just pull names out of a hat? I know it probably doesn't really matter, but it's interesting to know.

    Thanks
