How long is a good time to wait until becoming a mother (after a degree), in your opinion?

Doesn't have to be about the title

Aren't you a bit old to be on TSR at 28?

How did you manage to get into medical school with ABBc?

How long is a piece of string. For me 3-4 years was about right as that gave me the chance to get myself established on a training program, get married (and enjoy some time as a couple) and buy a house. However they are just my criteria. For others they might be ready earlier for others it might take 10+ year until they feel ready.

There are a good number of people who still use TSR who are my age (and older!). I think that as long as I still enjoy using the site there is no harm in staying. Plus especially in health and relationships, where I specialise as a section leader I think sometimes a bit more life experience can be helpful in giving advice.

Because I am so old ( ). I missed my Firm offer of AAB by 3 UMS marks but my insurance offer was ABB so I made that, I also had another offer for BBB which I didn't make my firm or insurance. Times change and the entry requirement grades go up.
Am i inventing a story i remember being told once that your first interaction was you PMing him to be a member of the labour party on the MHOC and him saying no?

What do you think has been the best change on TSR since you've been here?

What's the one thing you'd change if you could?

Sort of right, I posted in a thread in the Labour party subforum saying that I was interested in becoming an MP as he was the leader and he picked someone else. It was an early interaction may have been the first!

There have been so many changes that the site now is completely unrecognisable from what it was when I joined in early 2004. It wasn't even called TSR then. I think that one of my personal favourite things was when the site was completely redesigned to look basically what it looks like now. The change from when it looked like an old v-bulletin message board to how it looks now is amazing. I also (controversially) supported the removal of neg rep and think that things are much more positive since then.

It isn't really something that can be changed. The one thing that I really miss from the earlier days of the site was the fact that it was small and you knew a lot of the posters. Some of my oldest TSR friends are people that I met on the site in the early days. Now the site is huge (which is amazing!) and even the mod team is huge. It just means that personally I find it a bit harder to get to know people as easily as I did. However that is massively outweighed by all the benefits of having a bigger site!

BBB was a low offer as I did well at interview. Most people had AAA (oxbridge) AAB (Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol etc) ABB (Most London ones, BSMS, HYMS, Peninsula)

I had a bit of a rough time of it with an induction culminating in a c-section but I can honesty say it wasn't too bad. I am a pessimist though so prepared for the worse

I don't get the question :frown:

I am a veggie so personally terre a terre http://www.terreaterre.co.uk/

There was a time a while back, when a troll user kept posting threads demanding to know WHY PEOPLE IN THEIR 20S DON'T JOIN SOCIAL GROUPS (yes, in all caps). The mystery was never solved.

I want to know if your baby knows the answer.

I just asked him and his response was a yawn... make of that what you will! (possibly that I should be putting him to sleep!)

see above
Congratulations  (I know not a question)

Anyway, weird question but are you going to give them a phone or a tablet once they hit 5? If yes, it's not unusual, I've actually seen some 4 year olds with better phones than mine.

P.S.

Sorry for the horrible grammar

RK has just said that he will probably be using a tablet before that but probably not his own... Won't have a phone for ages though as I don't expect him to be anywhere at that age where he will need one!

If he's anything like the cats, he'll be using the iPad from a young age.

The cats certainly did!

This is true. It wasn't until we got the kittens that I realised you can get apps for cats!
