Applications aren't far away now so I thought that I'd set this thread up for all of us! It would be good to speak about the universities we're thinking of applying to and work experience

I'm currently looking at: Nottingham, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Southampton,UWE and Plymouth
Studying: Biology, Maths and BTEC Sport, hopefully dropping Chemistry at AS!

Is there anyone else out there who is looking at physiotherapy for 2015?

Hi im going to Leeds Met to do Physio this year. I looked round Leeds met and york st john and they were both good, just depends if you want a small / big uni / city.
Tips to get in:
Apply early as possible
Spend ages on personal statement. Make it sound professional
If you get interviews make people mock interview you and type into google physio uni interview questions, gives you a list of what they may ask you
Anything else you want to ask about applying or whatever go ahead

Hi, I am applying to do physio in 2015 and I have a question.

What grades did you get at AS and what grades did you get at A2? Also, what grades were you predicted after AS?

Thank you! I've already started my personal statement and was just wondering what you spoke about exactly? I've put in recent developments in treatment and the different types of physiotherapy, as I know universities stress this! Is there anything else I should include?

I've just got into Liverpool and the basic format my PS took was:
*What I saw a physio do
*What qualities this demonstrated a physio needs to have
*How and why I have those qualities

Simples!

I'm hoping to do it next year if my local college allow me onto the Access course this year for Allied Health Professions as I'm 22.

I'm applying for 2015. Not entirely sure on my 5 yet but edging towards Brighton, Cardiff, UWE, Coventry & Hertfordshire. Anyone else applying for these? Haven't started properly working on my PS yet so that's my priority at the moment!

Hi,

I'm also applying!

I'm doing a BTEC Applied science though!

Has everyone done work experience? I haven't and I'm seriously worried!

Have you applied yet? I've done a few placements but if you haven't applied yet you could try private practices?
