    Hi all,

I'm trying to get a job but it seems like I'm getting nowhere so I've given up looking... I've been a carer since I've left school/college and have 0 experience, It's got to be 0-16 hours as well due to my carers allowance being stopped and I need to be in for most of the day.

I need experience to get experience?!

I also have arthritis so can't do any heavy lifting... I'm pretty stuck here lol...

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    ....................
You've got carer experience, and that can be transferred to a range of caring roles. Open a thread in CV Help and see what they can work out.

You have definitely transferable skills having been a carer, you just need to sell those skills as being transferable. You should theoretically be able to sell them into other roles than just caring as well. For example, people skills, working with others... that works well into retail. Opening up a thread to get help with your CV is definitely a way to go.
