    Hi
My friend wants to study Medical in Australia. She is a very bright student but unfortunately her a lvls result was not up to the mark. She did very poorly regardless of her excellent mock scores which were always an "A"
She can not repeat her a lvls again as it has already taken away 2 years.

What other alternatives does she have? :/
Your feedback would be highly appreciated

Take a gap year and revise them again?
There is the alternative foundation year if they will accept that, link: http://www.intohigher.com/uk/en-gb/o...-sciences.aspx

I don't know what student finance would be able to do but, it is a possibility.

She is a really good student but this happened all so suddenly :/
    That is a UK university?
Is there any other way like a foundation course or something which can be done to get into a medical university?
Her father would allow her to go to Australia or Germany.

    1) She doesn't have to repeat her entire a levels- she can just retake a few modules that she did badly in to boost her grade, which shouldn't be more than another year

    2) She can apply to non-UK european medical schools (e.g. poland, romania etc) where she'd have to take an entrance exam, but cost of tuition is cheaper and she'd still come out with a medical degree. She can then apply to work in Australia.

    3) She can do a different course now and then go for postgraduate entry for medicine

Canada and US are graduate entry medicine only. You need a Canadian/US university undergraduate bachelor degree to apply. It is very difficult for international citizens as well, many schools only accept 1 or 2 a year and more than half don't accept any at all.
