I got offers for LLB from uni of Manchester, Liverpool, and Leicester. Obvious choice would be Manchester but I find their tuition to be quite expensive, which is 14,500. Cost of living is also more expensive than other two unis according to some guys on the internet, and so on. I personally like to consider Leicester but it's not a Russell group uni and that makes me very reluctant to choose tat uni. Am I being stupid by caring about something I don't need to consider?

    Thank you guys

Yes, if the Russel Group is a target. Otherwise, makes very little difference, unless of course you want to go into a research oriented subject. RG uni's get hell of a lot of research funding. Otherwise RG doesn't automatically = Best, not to point any RG universities out.

Good luck in whatever decision you make.

If you are hoping to return to your own country, what matters is how your university is perceived at home. That is not necessarily how it is perceived in the UK.

Doesn't matter. All three are good universities.

RG isn't everything, as long as the reputation of the university is still good and it's good for your course. All 3 universities are good so take into account course content, location, campus life, connections etc. There is no point in going somewhere that you hate. Obviously RG universities will have good connections to firms in the city but the course may not be as strong as other universities'; so you may find the top non-RG unis have a lot of contacts as well. Btw, I rejected 2 RG universities and accepted one that was outside it but still top 15

For Law, I would think that graduating from a Russell Group would help immensely when applying for jobs (in contrast to a non-Russell Group applicant)

My advice would be to not worry so much about the cost. There are various loans provided by student finance, banks and private loans companies that you can use. Also universities themselves can provide you grants, scholarships and so forth if you put a little work in and/or have circumstances etc.
