seetickets.com

Has anyone used seetickets.com before? Are they legit kind of thing? I ordered some tickets from them (ticketmaster had no tickets for the event on sale) on the 5th of august and there tracker still says the tickets are not in stock. Is this normal? I haven;t used any ticket site other than ticketmaster before and was just hoping for some reassurance that my tickets will come! Or of course whether I need to get ebaying!

seetickets always take FOREVER to send tickets - always. i usually order from ticketweb or ticketmaster (even though ticketmasters fees are HUUUUGE compared to others) because then at least I have the peace of mind of getting my ticket a week or two after ordering.

but don't worry, they will turn up. they just take a loooong time about it.

See Tickets are great. They're a lot better than Ticket Master

Seetickets are legit, but they are awful, slow and expensive (although admittedly nowhere near as bad as the abysmal Ticketmaster)

yeah you can absolutely trust them (seetickets), and they are good in that they stock tickets a lot of other places don't. but if you're planning on say, travelling for a week before a gig and not returning home first, don't go there. so many people had problems with reading/leeds tickets this year because a lot of them didn't turn up til 5/6 days before.

but anything is better than ticketmaster, haha. especially since now it's near impossible to get the damn tickets delivered when you'll actually be there to get them. grr.

Tickets are usually delivered late to cripple touts and forgers - gives them a lot less time to work.

i LOVE seetickets, they are and absolute ledge. They are more than legit, they are ticket gods.

I disagree. They didn't let me have a Reading ticket this year. Though... that's the only reason... and... it's not... really... a very... good... reason... at all...
S**t.

That's a load of crap though - my ticket arrived about 3 weeks before the festival because I ordered my ticket elsewhere.

Ok, thanks for the reassurance, now I'll just have to hope it comes a few days before the gig and my parents can resend it to Durham. Unless I can change my address to my halls.

not quite.
i ordered my muse tickets off there the day they went on presale; the other day i tracked them, to find out "this order has been cancelled".
So i rang them up, and after asking why they were cancelled, they said "i don't really know".

oh dear.
never heard that happening before. that's not good... i don't think even ticketmaster have ever done that. eek. i guess they didn't do anything about it either?

Reply 13

they're slow on purpose, it's a sort of half arsed attempt to prevent touts.

They've always been fine for me, I always have recieved the tickets in time for the gigs.

Gigsandtours.com is a branch of Seetickets - I find this site easier to use, if anyone is interested.

How far in advance though?

Reply 16

Couple of weeks last time I got some.

Reply 17

They're great, but very slow. You will receive the tickets in time for the gig, don't worry.

My Reading tickets came just under a week before the actual date, a bit later than most others but still in time.

Reply 18

My See Tickets Reading festival ticket came before my Ticketmaster Reading festival ticket!

I have never had a problem with them. Got three or four gigs coming up that I have got tickets from them. The only thing the bugs me is they wont send tickets to halls so I have to get them sent home and then forwarded on. I might try sending some to halls because my halls keep recorded and special delivery items secure until you can sign for them.
