Guys, i need some advice. I've just received my AS level results and they are not what i expected! Very disappointed. so, i've got 2 options, either carry onto A2 and resit the modules or resit the whole year. Grades i will be carrying onto A2 are
    Maths: C1-B-74/100 ums
    C2-C-63/100 ums
    D1-D-54/100 ums
    overall grade: C, was 19 ums from from a B. i think i could easily get a B by resitting D1 and C2.

    Chemistry: F321-D
    F322-D
    (coursework)F323-A-51/60
    overall : D- 9 ums from a C

was really disappointed with chemistry, i would have done way better. i can easily achieve a C by just doing the coursework again.

    biology: unit 1- D
    unit 2 -D
    (coursework) unit 3 - C
    overall D- 11 ums from a C

please guys, what would you advice me to do?

I dont think those grades are bad enough for you to resit the whole year, just the odd exam, 11 UMS is only 3/4 marks and after another year of learning you can probably easily do that. I would recommend to resits C2/D1 if you want a B, Chemistry which every out of F321 or F322 you feel you are likely to do better in and unit 1 or 2 for bio same as chem. So overall 4 extra resits.

Depends on what you want to do - probably with those grades so close to the boundary - you could resit a couple of modules to boost your grade.

But on the other hand this on top of your A2's is going to be VERY stressful and perhaps more work where you don't need or want it!

You have to balance it out for yourself but good luck with whatever you do!

You are worth a lot more than the grades you got on a piece of paper so please dont let those grades decide your fate. Also there are other options for example Btecs so its not completely the end of the world if you dont get the grades. You did the best that you could and if you have not i guess you have learnt your lesson that its though out there so be prepared...Remember life does not go in a straight line so dont stress of over exam results...as it is not all about going to Cambridge or oxford-you dont have to go there to make something good out of your life so do what suits you.

Always Remember "Winners are to busy to be sad, to positive to be doubtful, to optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated."

Edit: It is not all about a piece of paper with your name on it
